Copyright Information
As the proprietors of a WWW site which frequently contains original information and graphics, we try to be as sensitive as we can to intellectual property issues, especially as they pertain to the Internet. So here are a few notes on the subject:
All original content of the Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Book Database is copyrighted (1998) by us, Cary and Rachel Collett. Please feel free to link to the database we will eventually be providing banners for that purpose - but if you want to copy large portions of the original text or the graphics, please contact us before doing so. We will most likely allow it, but we'd like to know, please!
The graphics on the site are of various different types, including pieces taken from other sources on the Web, scanned images, and original graphics. We have not received permission to display all of these images, though we make every effort to get only images which are not marked as copyrighted. If you find an image on our site which you have copyrighted and do not want displayed here, please let us know. We will remove it immediately.
Some of the pages we have linked to from the database may contain copyrighted information or graphics used without permission. We are not responsible for the actions of others, and we strongly urge everyone to be careful before downloading graphics, text, or fonts without checking on copyrights.
We are not responsible for any inaccuracies with the information in the database. We have made every effort to ensure that the information contained herein is protected and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it is correct or complete.
Web Law Frequently Asked Questions is an excellent location to get more information on intellectual property issues as they relate to the Internet.
